Marguerite Hannan - Athlone/Westmeath - Midlands

Marguerite is living in the central town of Athlone, in Westmeath and works as a Doula in the Midlands to Mid-West,to within 50/60 mins from Athlone (flexible). Marguerite also teaches GentleBirth classes.


Marguerite is a 32 year old mother of 4 children. She has two girls who were born in hospital and both her sons were born at home with Independent Community Midwives.
Marguerite  is a long standing member of various organizations such as 'La leche League of Ireland', and has been attending monthly support meetings with out fail for the last 10 years. Marguerite has breastfed all of her children.


She is also involved on committee level with 'The Home Birth Association of Ireland', which not only promotes Home birth but a return to natural birth which has proven benefits for mother and baby, and too is a committee member of 'The Doula Association of Ireland'. Marguerite has attended both hospital and home births and her clients and hospital staff have been more than happy with her calm yet enthusiastic non intrusive nature.

Originally from France, Tissy has been living in Ireland for the past 12 years and is fluent in English. Tissy is DONA trained and offers antenatal, birth, post natal and breastfeeding support in the Galway area. Tissy is a 32 year old mother of 2 girls born in Galway hospital and her aim is to help mothers to enjoy the unforgettable experience of giving birth. Tissy is also trained in antenatal & baby massage.

Caroline Rocliffe

My name is Caroline Rocliffe, I am based in North County Dublin. I will cover all areas up to and including 1 hours drive away. I have been trained by Doula Ireland and will provide the following services: Antenatal education, continuous support during labour, both at home and at the hospital, Breastfeeding support and I will shortly be able to offer Baby Massage techniques. I am a mother of 3, each a completely different birth. My aim is to help you to have a positive birth experience.

Gwynneth Warren

My aim is to empower women to labour and birth their babies well, in a relaxed and non-threatening atmosphere where they feel safe and in control.

I am a mother of 6 and have been doula to family and friends over the past 17 years and have recently attained an Arts Degree in Midwifery Studies in Trinity College,Dublin.

I am based in Dublin and the service I provide will include 3 meetings antenatally to cover antenatal education, continuous support during labour, both in your home and the hospital, and at least 2 visits postnatally for parent education and breastfeeding support.
